Early pregnancy management
Typically, obstetricians begin to see patients between weeks 8 and 10 of their pregnancy. For patients with recurrent pregnancy loss or who have experienced infertility, the time between a positive pregnancy test and the first prenatal appointment can be stressful, especially without a trusted healthcare team on their side.
Our physicians act as the “bridge” between a positive pregnancy test and the commencement of care with an obstetrician. During this time, they carefully monitor the progress of the pregnancy using ultrasounds and hormone blood tests, and prescribe hormone supplements to support early pregnancy when necessary.
